Hello Members,
It was brought to our attention last evening at the Club Meeting that some
of you are experiencing difficulty downloading and/or opening the
Newsletter from our WEB site. In looking into this problem further, we’ve
discovered that upgrading to the newest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader
solves this problem in most cases. Consequently, we suggest that you
upgrade to Adobe Reader Version 9. Please follow the link provided to
accomplish that upgrade.

When the WEB site opens, I would suggest removing the check mark from the
Free McAfee Security Scan Plus option, unless of course, you want it. In
that case, I would suggest clicking on the “Learn more” link to make an
informed decision. If not already on your system, you will then be
prompted to install Adobe DLM. That is the Download Manager required to
install Reader. Also note that this is a 37.85 MB file and will take some
time to download. If the install completes successfully, it should remove
any previous versions of Reader installed on your system.
If, after
completing this task, you still find difficulty opening the Newsletter, or
because of a slow connection, find it too time consuming, let me know and
I’ll add you to a list that I send the Newsletter to as an attachment. In
that case, I would suggest saving the attachment to your computer before
opening it.

this works, please remember that you can contact Phil Gross to get on the
list of members who receive the Newsletter via U.S. Mail.
