Aug 1-4      Thunder in the Mountains
                   Whistler, British Columbia, Canada

This will be the 21^st Thunder in the Mountains. Over the years, countless numbers of our Corvette friends from all over the Pacific Northwest have joined to make the gathering something very special. This year we’re going to fit in as much as possible with a reception on Friday evening, a Show & Shine on Saturday, a banquet with a guest speaker on Saturday evening and an Auto-Cross on Sunday. Monday will be a day to enjoy a Whistler experience; one of countless outdoor or indoor activities.

Aug 11-12        High Performance Drivers Education         
                               Sponsored by the National Corvette Museum at Road America . 

This is the first HPDE the Museum has run at Road America and it will be a great one as they are       going all out.

Be sure you are subscribed to www.corvettemuseum.com/ncmenews   to learn about the event since when registration opens in February, the event could fill up in under an hour. The Museum puts safety first and has groups for all levels, including people who have not had their Corvette on a track before. The fact that they fill up so fast is perhaps the best testimony to how well they are run, and Road America is about the perfect track for an HPDE.  (Convertibles are not allowed unless they have an SCCA roll cage.)
